GOVERNMENT VISIT VISA

You may travel to Saudi Arabia with a government visit visa if you are invited by a Saudi government/state authority, office, or institution. The application will be initiated by the inviting Saudi authority or institution through the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they will receive the official invitation letter and send it to you. You will then need to submit this letter to us along with the other required documents.

Number of entries: single or multiple
Validity:

– Single: 90 days
– Multiple: 90, 180, 365 or 730 days

Length of stay:

– Single: 30 or 90 days
– Multiple – 90 days validity: 14, 30 or 90 days
– Multiple – 180 days validity: 14, 30, 60 or 90 days
– Multiple – 365 days validity: 90 days
– Multiple – 730 days validity: 30 or 90 days

Mandatory documents for all visa types:

1. Original passport and copy. Passport must
   – be valid for at least 6 months after date of entry into the country,
   – have at least 2 empty pages side by side,
   – be free of any restrictions or conditions that would prevent your return to Hungary.
2. Official invitation letter from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
3. Filled-out and signed application form.
4. 1x colour passport photo with white background, not older than 6 months.
5. Copy of valid Hungarian ID card, both sides.
6. Copy of valid Hungarian address card, both sides.
7. For non-Hungarian citizens, copy of Hungarian residence card, both sides, valid for at least 6 months.
8. Signed declaration form about the laws of the KSA, and agreeing to the biometric reading at the Embassy in Budapest.
9. Filled-out and signed declaration on the countries you have visited in the past 6 months.
10. Filled-out and signed Embassy release.
11. Name, address, and tax registration number (for companies) for the invoice.
12. Your address in the KSA.

Further documents necessary for the government visit visa:

1. Letter from the Saudi company/government agency, addressed to the Embassy, requesting the visa to be issued to you, including the purpose of your visit, your personal data, stating that they would be sponsoring your stay (if they are the sponsor), signed, and stamped.
2. Saudi company’s registration document. (Not applicable to government agencies.)
3. Saudi company’s/government agency’s details (name, address, Web page, e-mail address, telephone number, contact person’s name).
4. Copy of Hungarian employer’s certificate (“munkáltatói igazolás”) or employment contract, in English, signed, and stamped.
5. Hungarian employer’s registration document (“cégkivonat”). (Not applicable to government agencies.)
6. Letter from your Hungarian employer, in English, addressed to the Embassy, requesting the visa to be issued to you, including the purpose of your visit, your personal data, stating that they would be sponsoring your stay (if they are the sponsor), signed, and stamped.
