STUDENT VISA

To be able to pursue studies in Saudi Arabia, you will need a student visa. The Saudi educational institution will initiate the visa application process through the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they will receive the official invitation letter and authorization/delegation letter. They will send these to you, and you will need to submit them to us along with the other required documents.

Mandatory documents for all visa types:

1. Original passport and copy. Passport must
   – be valid for at least 6 months after date of entry into the country,
   – have at least 2 empty pages side by side,
   – be free of any restrictions or conditions that would prevent your return to Hungary.
2. Official invitation letter from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA).
3. Filled-out and signed application form.
4. 1x colour passport photo with white background, not older than 6 months.
5. Copy of valid Hungarian ID card, both sides.
6. Copy of valid Hungarian address card, both sides.
7. For non-Hungarian citizens, copy of Hungarian residence card, both sides, valid for at least 6 months.
8. Signed declaration form about the laws of the KSA, and agreeing to the biometric reading at the Embassy in Budapest.
9. Filled-out and signed declaration on the countries you have visited in the past 6 months.
10. Filled-out and signed Embassy release.
11. Name, address, and tax registration number (for companies) for the invoice.
12. Your address in the KSA.

Further documents necessary for the student visa:

1. MOFA authorisation/delegation letter.
2. Letter from the Saudi educational institution, addressed to the Embassy, requesting the visa to be issued to you, including the purpose of your visit, the capacity in which you would be attending, your personal data, stating that you are presently enrolled, and that they would be sponsoring your stay (if they are the sponsor/you are invited on a scholarship), signed, and stamped.
3. Original medical certificate and test results, not older than 3 months, with a Hungarian Foreign Ministry apostille.
4. Original police certificate, free of any convictions, not older than 3 months, with a Hungarian Foreign Ministry apostille.
5. Original diploma and copy, in English, or certified OFFI English translation attached, authenticated on the https://www.mosadaqa.sa/Home/Landing Web site, AND with a Hungarian Foreign Ministry apostille (or with the issuing country’s Foreign Ministry apostille if other than Hungary).
6. Applicant’s age must be between:
   – 18-25 years for undergraduate studies
   – maximum 30 years for master’s studies
   – maximum 35 years for doctorate studies
